Usage [ ]
Glass blocks side by side to other drinking glass blocks are invisible when viewed through glass.
Mobs cannot normally spawn on glass blocks. An exception to this is zombie reinforcement, which tin can upshot in unexpected zombies "sneaking into" an otherwise secure area. Glass blocks (but not drinking glass panes) also block a mob'due south line of sight for the purposes of aggro; e.m. a zombie volition non brainstorm targeting a player if there are drinking glass blocks betwixt the role player's middle level and the zombie'south eye level, though it can still pathfind around them. Mobs may also still await at the thespian through the drinking glass, but this is purely visual.
Redstone dust and components can be placed on drinking glass, merely cannot ability glass. Glass can't cutting vertical redstone. Vertical redstone can be placed on glass. In Java Edition, it transmits redstone signals up, non down. Otherwise, glass in redstone circuits is functionally the same as an upside-down slab.
Lite does non travel through tinted glass blocks.
